win a 5-night holiday in Zanzibar

  • Anyone who signs up for the 8 Week Lifestyle Rebuild Transformation Program or the 6 Week Holiday Ready Transformation Program is automatically entered into the competition.
  • What’s great about this competition is that you can enter multiple times. You can enter each time you complete one of the transformation programs (after every 8 weeks or 6 weeks) and participate in the next challenge.
  • The competition runs from 31 March 2025 to 08 March 2026.
  • After the cut-off date, a hyperlink will be available to vote for your favourite transformation.
  • The winner will be announced on the 13th of March 2026.
  • The transformation winners from each 8-week and 6-week challenge intake will compete for the title of overall best transformation, ensuring a fair selection process.
  • The best overall transformation, selected through public voting, will win a 5-night holiday in Zanzibar from the pool of challenge winners.
  • Voting will take place on the @itsleierefalckx Instagram account for 24 hours and will be open to everyone.
  • The transformation with the most votes from the public will be crowned the winner.
  • This prize is for one person.
  • The winner may bring a plus one, but they will be responsible for any additional costs.
  • Travel dates are between March and the end of May 2026.
  • Blackout dates apply: The prize is not valid for travel during Easter, public holidays, or school holidays. If the winner chooses to travel during these dates, they must cover the price difference.
  • The prize is not convertible to cash.
  • The trip includes a Half Board meal plan (breakfast & dinner). The winner can upgrade to All-Inclusive at an additional cost.
  • Departure City: The trip is ex-Johannesburg (JNB). If the winner requires return flights to JNB, Travel in my Footsteps (Pty) Ltd will gladly assist with arrangements at an additional quoted cost.
  • Return flights from Johannesburg (JNB) to Zanzibar (ZNZ).
  • 5 nights’ accommodation at a beautiful resort in Zanzibar.
  • Half Board meal plan (breakfast & dinner).
  • Return airport transfers in Zanzibar.
  • If the winner is unable to take the trip, the second-best transformation will be eligible to win the prize.
  • If the trip has been booked and later canceled, cancellation fees may apply. Some hotels and airlines do not offer refunds.
  • The prize cannot be exchanged for cash.
  • If the winner is unable to go, they may transfer the prize to another person, subject to availability and airline/hotel policies. Any name changes will incur a change fee as per supplier rules.
  • Once the booking has been made, any date changes are subject to availability and may incur additional costs.
  • Travel in my Footsteps (Pty) Ltd applies a flat-rate fee for any booking changes.
  • If the winner prefers to travel in a different month, they are welcome to do so, but this is also subject to availability and any additional costs that may apply.
  • This booking will be done through Travel in my Footsteps (Pty) Ltd.
  • Resort Fees, Taxes & Levies: Various destinations worldwide have introduced these fees, which are not included in the booking. These charges vary per hotel and must be paid directly to the hotel upon check-in or check-out.
  • Credit Card Requirement: Most hotels require a credit card upon check-in.
  • Special Requests: These are subject to availability at check-in and may incur additional costs. Special requestscannot be guaranteed.
  • Passport & Visa Requirements:
    • Passports must have at least six months’ validity after the return date and at least two blank pages.
    • South African passport holders do not need a visa for Zanzibar. Travelers with different passports should check visa requirements in advance.
    • All travelers to Zanzibar must complete an online Traveler’s Health Surveillance Form within 24 hours before arrival: https://healthtravelznz.mohz.go.tz.
  • Zanzibar Infrastructure Tax: All travelers must pay an Infrastructure Tax of USD 4–5 per person per night (depending on the hotel’s grading), payable directly to the hotel.
  • Luggage Allowance:
    • International flights allow 2 x 20kg checked baggage + 7kg hand luggage.
    • Strict penalties apply for overweight luggage.
